Child Safety Policy

INTRODUCTION
The Perth School of Ballet is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all children participating in our programs.

This Child Safe Policy outlines our commitment to safeguarding children from harm and ensuring their welfare while in our care.

Competition Info

At The Perth School of Ballet, we encourage students to participate in competitions as part of their growth as dancers.

Competitions provide valuable performance experience, develop resilience, and help students build confidence, character, and community.

Uniforms

At The Perth School of Ballet, being well-groomed and dressed in the correct uniform is an important part of every dancer’s training. Uniforms promote discipline, focus, and confidence—while also helping teachers assess alignment and technique effectively.

Students should arrive neat, tidy, and ready to dance. All uniforms can be purchased at the studio.

Hair:
Girls are required to wear their hair in a tidy ballet bun for all classes. This helps with focus and line, and ensures safety during movement.

Optional PSB hairpieces are available for purchase at reception. Boys hair to be neatly groomed.
