We are thrilled to announce the addition of new classes to our timetable at The Perth School of Ballet, starting 29 August! Due to popular demand, we are introducing Jazz & Lyrical classes at our Jolimont studios.
Class Details:
Location: Jolimont Studios
Days: Thursdays
Junior Class (ages 9-12): 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Senior Class (ages 13 and up): 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Both classes will cover Jazz and Lyrical dance styles. As with all classes at PSB, the FIRST CLASS IS FREE!
About Jazz & Lyrical Dance:
Jazz Dance: This energetic and dynamic style combines technique, rhythm, and performance skills. Students will work on flexibility, strength, coordination, and expression through upbeat music and fun choreography.
Lyrical Dance: Lyrical dance blends elements of ballet and jazz, focusing on expressing emotions and storytelling through fluid and graceful movements. This style helps dancers develop their musicality and artistry.

For Ballet Students: Jazz and Lyrical classes complement ballet training by enhancing versatility, musicality, and emotional expression. These styles encourage freedom of movement and add variety to dance education.
