Parents’ Week – Step Inside the Studio

Parents’ Week is one of our favourite times of the term at The Perth School of Ballet. It’s a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to step into the studio and see first-hand the focus, dedication and progress students make each week in class.

We warmly invite families to join us during:

Friday March 27 – Thursday April 2

During this week, parents and carers are welcome to observe their child’s class and experience a glimpse of our training environment. Ballet classes often move quickly and there is always a lot happening, so it’s a special chance to see the work that goes into building strong technique, musicality and artistry.

Please note that there is no viewing for Professional Training classes.

Helping the Week Run Smoothly

Parents’ Week is always a busy and exciting time in the studios. To help ensure classes can run as smoothly as possible, we kindly ask families to keep a few things in mind:

  • Please keep noise to a minimum, especially before and after classes so dancers can stay focused.
  • If possible, leave younger siblings at home or bring something quiet to keep them entertained.
  • Seating is limited, so you may wish to bring a folding chair or cushion.
  • Some classes are quite full, so space may be a little tight — thank you for your patience.

A Special Moment for Our Dancers

For many students, Parents’ Week is a moment they look forward to. It’s a chance for them to proudly share what they’ve been learning and to show the progress they’ve made throughout the term.

We look forward to welcoming you into the studio and celebrating the hard work and dedication of our dancers.
